From a young age, I have been curious about how things worked. It started with small electrical devices, taking apart broken toys and old tools to find out what made them tick. This curiosity was fed well by library books, school projects, and a plethora of broken electronics to dissect.
I never once doubted that taking apart and fixing electronics was how I would spend my professional career. It was for this reason that when I graduated high school I opted to attend Iowa State University to study electrical engineering.
